This blog contains a selection of my photographs taken over the last 3 years since I 'went digital'. I try to focus on sights that can easily be walked past in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. My aim is to turn them into interesting, artistic images. 33 years a teacher, 2 before that as a trainer. Retiring on August 31st 2007. With a little bit of luck my cancer treatment will be over by then and I'll have a sense of freedom I've never experienced before. Retired people tell me they don't know how they ever found time for work and many others have asked me what I am going to do. I'm looking forward to having time and choice but I do know that I'll be throwing away many things to do with teaching including a few threadbare jackets and typically shiny, worn pairs of trousers.
